Whistler 2018 - Ski Week

So after spending many days sick as a dog....with Strep throat (at first I was diagnosed with the flu and was sent home with Tamiflu...but the 3rd day I woke up with a bright red rash.  Mom freaked out and made a dr's appt....I went in and was diagnosed with Scarlet Fever!!!!  And strep.  Thankfully, it was all treatable with antibiotics and in 48hours I was already feeling better.  I finally started to eat my regular sized meals (instead of taking 3 days to eat an order of Tegone Hamburg Curry)...and I went back to school for a couple days.

Then...off to Whistler.  Where there was so  much snow and it was so so so cold.  Mom put on everything under her jacket...and she was still cold.  But the snow was pretty good and they were really long runs.  Though I have to say that we should have gone to Lake Louise.  There wasn't as much variety in runs...and some were downright terrible.  And still, it was cold.

Walking the path down to Creekside village.

Always in for a snowball fight.

Met up with B's tennis friend Alex and family for a bit of riding.

Also met Chloe - second cousin...I think.

That's Chloe and Caleb

Airport in Vancouver - luckily, this was not the day we left.  The snow cleared by the time we left.

Momo!
