Started soccer today. Totally fun and incredible. Loved it. Can't wait to do it again. Ran around like crazy...got super sweaty (even though it suddenly got very windy and cold). Loved it.

Possible Nerd Alert

Okay, so Mom went to the Parent Teacher conference this week...and I'm doing really well at school. I'm very good at math and computer lab (this thing called ji ji) and Ms B says I'll probably be an engineer or a mathematician. Whoa! I'm doing well with reading and writing (though I have to work on being a little neater). Ms B says I'm above standards. Yay! I actually love doing homework....maybe not the writing bit so much, but homework is fun. I participate and am super excited about all things school. I also accept challenges! Mom and Dad are proud.

Also, Mom thought perhaps there was an issue with me being "bullied" by the new kid, but actually...that was not the case. Well, I have been reaching out to the new kid (offering my pencil, or trying to be his friend, etc) to help him feel welcome in school. Ms B says it has helped the new kid's transition, though she did worry that I might get hurt. And since I'm nice to him, he hasn't actually "gone after" me, though he did push me once. He's doing better these days, and has fewer visits to the principal's office (what is that like?).

I play with lots of different groups of kids at school. Sometimes I play with Brennah (on the red team from Dance), sometimes Caleb and Charlotte (neighbors), sometimes Matthew, Ketan, guys from my class, sometimes Theo, sometimes Tishya and Leyna, and so on. :) Lots of friends, right?

Mentos Experiment

So Dad got us this kit to do the mentos experiment. You know, drop the mentos in a big jug of soda? Check us out!

And yes, we are in our pajamas because we like to. Whenever we are home, we are in them. PJs are our indoor clothes. We like to take our "outdoor" clothes off when we come in b/c they are dirty from playing. And since it's still sort of winter, lucky us b/c our pj's are on under our clothes! Easy peasy! (and yes, Brendan is wearing Christmas pjs...)

Finally, this place went thru a long long remodel, but now it's finally open again. We had so much fun today and are now super tired.

Another successful performance

Last Saturday, we dance in the mall again during the summer camp fair. So there were lots of kids and families watching us. It was fun and I once again, did the coffee grinder.

Also, I got to get on stage with my new friend Brenna. She's also in the kindergarten class next door to mine, so sometimes we also play together at recess.

Mom had enrolled me in this afterschool dance class in the rec room at school. It was fun, and today we did our last class and had a little performance at the end. Mom and Brendan came to watch. Pics coming soon.

Chili Mangoes

MMMMMMMmmmmm....Paw Paw introduced me to chili mangoes and I LOVE THEM!!! But they ones Mom got from Trader Joes are pretty darn spicy...too spicy, almost. But I still eat them, though I'd rather have the ones Paw Paw got on the side of highway 5. Yum. My new favorite thing. Sometimes I do enjoy spicy food, but then I drink lots of water or milk.
