Field Trip - Oakland Zoo

My grade went on a field trip.  We rode the bus to the Oakland Zoo.  It was quite a long and bumpy ride...not to mention the RAIN!!!!  Mom was a chaperone, but she went in another chaperone's car.  When we arrived at the zoo....it was starting to rain and as the day went on, more and more rain.  It was pouring.  Mom was in charge of two other kids, Justine and David.

It was a fun trip, too bad it was wet.

My birthday party....:)

I turned 7 while we were at Disneyland, so Mom and Dad threw me a shindig right there in the hotel where all my dance pals were staying too.  It worked out great.

Mom made the Star Wars cookies again.  Turned out yummy.

Cousin E came to celebrate too and everyone loved her.

I guess it ended a tie, but it was a lot of fun and we all got a little wet.

Team Beach Day

Our team beach day was at Seacliff Beach near Santa Cruz.  The weather turned out great and we had a blast playing in the water and the sand.

I am the Champion!  Okay, so maybe not really.  All the kids got medals, but it was FUN!  It was only 1/4 of a mile, and straight, but it was good practice for our triathlon coming up next month.

That's right...right before our last dance competition...I go and get strep throat.  Luckily, Mommy took me to the doctors office right away.  We were able to get the meds and I was feeling better asap.  And yes, I did make it to the dance competition and we did win!

Mother's Day Tea at school

We spent all week preparing for the Mother's Day Tea.  We made scones - cranberry orange ones and also chocolate chip.  We baked a cake - chocolate chocolate chip, in a bundt pan.  And we made tea sandwiches - cucumber and cream cheese, and peanut butter jelly.  We set the table.  And then our Mommies came!
