XMAS!!!!

Of course, time to open presents!  We waited patiently for everyone to wake up....it took a while...but finally, we got busy...
Someone was really excited to open his presents.

Mom and Dad got us "gaming chairs" so we can sit on the floor and watch TV and play video games...hey...she got us a chair to play video games?  What??!?

I was super duper excited to open this...

Oshawott slippers!

Santa got me the Spirograph set and B got Perplexus Epic.

Later, Jenna, Lindsay, Enzo, Uncle Chris and Auntie Susan came over.  We opened our presents...and then played with them!

The next day, Uncle Craig, Auntie Eleanor, Isabelle, Julia, and Great Uncle Ed came over to hang out and have lunch.  We had to rearrange our dining room the day before too.  It was pretty cool to have so many people over!  Thanks for all the gifts!

Xmas Mass

We went to Christmas mass.  In our new sweaters.  It was the children's service and I saw one of my old dance friends sing in the service.  That was pretty cool.

Xmas Party

Our annual holiday party went off without a hitch.  As usual, we got our picture taken BEFORE we got to open presents.  Well worth the wait.  I got a really nice chess set and Brendan got the Skylanders Swapforce game.  Yeah!

Passed!

I passed my chinese school evaluation.  We get tested on last years 160 phrases....and I passed.  Phew!  That was hard!  We'll have another evaluation at the end of the year...for the new phrases!  Yikes!

Gilroy Gardens Holiday Lights

Mom got a coupon for Gilroy Gardens Holiday Lights...I haven't been to see the lights in years and years! (19 months old!)

Okay, it was freezing...like really.  The bay area was frigid.  We had frost warnings and all that.  Mom is wearing like a bajillion layers and well, I'm pretty warm..but I've got 4 layers on.  Long sleeve, then tshirt, sweatshirt and then jacket.  I had gloves later too.

Snow?

It's foam snow!

Some silly fun

Snoopy...and is that Sally?

I let Brendan drive.  He liked this ride a lot.  He rode 3 times...no line at all!

Uh oh, caught speeding!

The lights were really pretty.  And we dressed warm enough.  We weren't cold.  Mom definitely wasn't cold.  She even had another jacket in her backpack!

Oh, and we had dinner there too.  It was a "feast" of turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, apple pie, etc.  It was okay....it was more convenient than going out of the park to eat.

Playing some fun games!

I broke 3 plates!  Yay!

There's Brendan driving agin!

Time to go home!

Did you know you can mail letters to Santa from here?

Ninja update

Ninja is pretty awesome.  I am getting better at handling him.  I can pick him up and slide him onto my lap.  It's not easy.  The next step will be to hold his lower half too.

Ninja, just relaxing.

Chinese Tutor

Did I mention that Mom found us a Chinese tutor?  She's actually one of the TAs in my chinese class.   She was also my TA in Level 1.  She comes once a week for one hour.  And I share my session with Hannah.  She's in my class and lives near us, so it's easy for her to come over.  It actually helps having another student with me.  We have fun and laugh and Julia, the tutor, has us playing games too.  I was hesitant at first, but now I realize, it goes by quickly and we get the work done.  And we are learning! Mom is pretty happy too.

Brendan has some tutor time, too.  It's just 15 minutes because Mom goes over his homework with him.  My homework is too difficult and the vocabulary is harder for Mom.  Obviously, she did not pay attention in Chinese class.

Masterchef Cameron?

Have you seen that show?  Masterchef Junior?  OMG.  I love that show.  It's awesome.  And amazing.  Those kids cook better than Mom.  Don't tell her though.  I was somewhat inspired by them, so have started sometimes, helping Mom and Dad in the kitchen.
Yum

Ok...Mom made those cutout bears...

Helping make the chicken pot pie soup!

Ninja Update

We moved Ninja to the playroom.  He likes it there better and we get to spend more time with him.  He has lots of room to run around and he usually gets chased around the lounger for extra exercise.  Mom has also gotten better at picking him up and holding him. He's more comfortable too.  We can hold him in our laps and pet him.  He likes it once he's there.
