Gung Hay Fat Choy!

Happy Chinese New Year! It's the year of the Ox!
We had a great dinner tonight and Mommy and Daddy made it all! Plus, I made a fun cherry blossom craft with Mom. It was fun. Jenna and Lindsay came over yesterday and we went to Dim Sum. It was delish. Then they came over and played! We had a good time.

Delicious dinner: Lion's Head, Mapo Tofu and Kau Fu, oh, and corn soup.

Another cool craft I made with Mommy

Let's Get Crafty

I did some Chinese New Year craft projects with Mommy to decorate our house. It was fun. I made a mess, but it was fun!

Do you like them?

New Year's round up

I'm about 4.5 now. I ask a lot of questions, and if you answer my questions, I'll just ask more. I'm very curious. I'm learning to read at school, just some really short words.

Like my brother, I like chicken wings. I can eat the bones cleaner than Auntie Betty! ** We had a contest at our last gathering and everyone said mine were super duper clean. I like spicy, but probably not as spicy as Brendan. How does he do it? My favorite food in the whole world is chocolate. If it's got chocolate in it, you can bet I'll want to eat it. Otherwise, I eat most everything. I like salmon sushi and tobiko. Yummy.

I sleep probably about 11 hours (maybe just 10) at night. I go to bed at the same time as Brendan, but I can't fall asleep as fast as he does. Plus, I always find some excuse to come out of my room....multiple times. Then I wake up early. Naps are still happening, and I'm pretty good at staying in my room quietly so B can sleep. It's about 2.5 hours, but no one can be sure how much of that time I'm actually sleeping.

Jingle Bells are ringing

Tonight, I performed a Jingle Bells dance at Christmas in the Park. There were lots and lots of people watching, but for our song, there were only two of us. Me and Ellie. I wonder what happened to the other kids in my class. Oh well. I wasn't scared or anything. Paw Paw and Gung Gung came up a couple days early, just to see me dance! I was so surprised because they didn't tell me anything and then Paw Paw rang the doorbell! I wore black pants, a holiday red top, and Mom's white scarf...oh, and my patent leather tap shoes too. You can check out my performance in the movies at the bottom of the blog. I sure hope you enjoy it!

Also, we had our Xmas party at Tristan and Logan's house. It was a lot of fun and we got some really fun presents! Thanks to Auntie Sarah and Uncle Kelvin, and Auntie Jen and Uncle Ken! Yay!

Enjoying Salt and Pepper wings! Our favorite! And yeah, we like it spicy!

Holiday Performance

UPDATE: Mommy uploaded the video. Should be running shortly. Also, will have a "rehearsal" cut playing soon as well.

We had our school's Holiday Performance today. My class performed to Feliz Navidad and Jingle Bells (this one in chinese). Too bad I was again stuck in the back, but I stilled rocked the house. Check out the pictures below of the show and us getting ready backstage.
