Mom took the iPod away again. We were fighting a lot. We both felt like we weren't getting enough playtime on it. So we argued all the time and Mom decided we were better off without it. Look at what happened on this Friday afternoon without an iPod....

DIY Makerfaire time...
We came upon some dry ice...and after Makerfaire over the weekend...our minds were fresh with wacky ideas. Dry ice, soap, and a little water...makes funny bubbles!

Tristan's Dance Recital
We went to Tristan and Addison's dance recital in the city. It was pretty entertaining. And we got to play with our buddies afterwards. Congrats to my pal Tristan for making it into San Francisco Ballet!

Makerfaire 2013
Wish they would let us ride it too!
This floats?
Hey, Mom, we can do this to your car!
Funny mirror...
Now we see Mom and Brendan
These fish sing...and the lobsters too.
Everyone loves a free t-shirt!
We want one.
Listening to this guy...I forgot his name, but he's on TV
Whoohoooo!
It was so cool.
And it went with some music too!
That thing spun around and around.
It looks cool...it's almost made from masking tape. What?
With the Maker Bot
Mom test drove a Spark. I'm sitting in the back.
Crazy.

Happy Mother's Day to Mom, Mah Mah and Paw Paw!
With lots of help from Dad, I made breakfast for Mom on Mother's Day. She also had coffee...which I made. I also helped with dinner. Though...Mom still had to do the dishes. Oops.
I made this at school for Mommy.

CoDance 2013
CoDance is the final competition and convention of the season, and this year, my final competition with this studio. I'm auditioning for a bigger studio in a couple of weeks. We wanted to finish strong, but the scoring was quite difficult and we scored lower than teams we beat at other competitions. I guess the judges just weren't feelin' it. Oh well, we had fun and I was still able to finish the season strong!
Hanging out in the hallway before showtime.
I'll probably need these soon enough...
Studio pictures
So...what did we win?
Convention time. Junior room. Saturday 730-230pm, and Sunday 830-3pm. Lots of dancing.
After class with Judy Rice
Time to change shoes. It smells like feet in here.
Got my number!!! Parents have to leave so bye bye Mom!
During auditions, which only lasted about 30 minutes total, we're taught a short combo, and then we perform it in groups. We get whittled down until there about about a dozen or so of us. I was the only boy! I can't believe I made it. I was so happy! Makyla, also got it. She's #29. She's in 5th grade and is an amazing dancer.
I was selected as a scholarship winner.
With Isabel, Emily and Christina.
Getting up on stage...we have to do the routine for everyone to see.
For some reason, I was a second behind the girls...oh well.
Getting our "medals"
Happy winner. But so so tired.
