Ski Week Part 2

After skiing, we heading back down to LA.  And into Disneyland.  My dance team and I had a performance and workshop to attend.  But first, a few days with the family and the mouse.

Of course, ice cream...bigger than ever.

Hmmm...will I like this ride?

We are all ears!!!

Luigi's Flying Tires...it's like air bumper cars.

I can't resist this.

It's crowded!

I really like this ride.  I should get a canoe.

Lunch at Blue Bayou.  We can see the boats from the Pirates of the Caribbean!

There's a shootout...

Time to meet up with the team...

In line for the Haunted house with my pals...wonder what we're
talking about??

Heading off to our performance and workshop

Waiting for Radiator Springs.  Such a good ride.

Ski Week - Part 1

I have been waiting to hit the slopes all winter!  Finally.  We get to ski.  It was perfect.  The sun was out and it was fairly warm.  We all skied with our jackets open.  Gung Gung and Paw Paw came on this trip with us....afterall, we were down near LA.  Big Bear is only 2.5 hours from LA...how awesome is that.  We found a perfect run and kept doing that one.  Gung Gung taught me how to ski parallel, though I'm still working on it.  Now both Brendan and I can ski with good control...not like last year.  We just sped down as fast as we could.  But all this turning and plowing really took its toll on me.  I was beat by lunch (course, we did start around 830 in the morning).  Still, it was great fun.

Taking another well-deserved break.

I'm tired.  Let's play in the snow.

Great view, right?

There's always time to play iPod....

Catch Gung Gung!

Is it me, or is it hot?

Oy!  I need a rest.

See the lake?

Here's one with Mom too!

Our cabin

Playing on what was a golf course.

Little hill, lots of fun.

Wheeee!!!!

Mom's college friend, Michelle and her family and friends came over
for a bit and we had a big snowball fight!  We were all between the ages
of 6 and 8, so we got along just great.

The day we left...we woke up to lots and lots of fresh powder.

OMG

This is crazy.

Kids at work.

Here's a video of me and B skiing.
