Happy St. Patrick's Day!

For school this year, we had to make Leprechaun Traps.  We set them up at school on Thursday to see if we would catch one over the weekend. (There was no school on Friday)  With some help from Mom and Dad and Brendan, we made a super cool Leprechaun Trap.

What does the Leprechaun want?  The pot of gold.
Where's the pot of gold?  At the end of the rainbow.
The leprechaun will see my rainbow and know there's a pot of gold,
then, as he gets closer, he'll see that he has to climb the golden ladder
to get to the gold....and then oops, he'll fall into the trap at the top of
the hill.  Ha ha!  Gotcha!

Pot of Gold
Pot made from half a plastic egg and a large button, glued together,
painted green and then sprinkled with glitter.
Gold coins made from hole punches of chocolate gold coin wrapper.

Do you see the 4 leaf clovers?  Those are taken from a flower lei.
They were 5 leaf flowers, so we pulled one leaf off and made them
4 leaf clovers and glued straws on them.  Then placed them in the field.
