Swimming and Sports Camp

This week I am in Sports camp in the morning, and then most of the week I'll be in swimming (just Mon-Th) for the afternoons with Brendan. I'm really enjoying both activities!

Dance Recital = longest day ever (at least for Mommy!)

So today was my dance recital(s). We performed All Shook Up and Centerfield for all 3 shows! It was super fun. Mom helped out during the first 2 shows and she was exhausted. There are 10 girls and me to change and get makeup (girls) and hair (girls) ready and 4 mommy helpers. The mommies were running around like crazy throwing glitter and lip gloss here and there and everywhere (not on me!) I wasn't tired at all, though and I didn't complain once! We got there are 12:15 and didn't leave til about 7:45pm! Talk about long day!

For the 1st show, Auntie Jen, Uncle Ken, Connor, Bella, Auntie Lydia, and Uncle Ryan came to watch! They brought balloons and chocolate! Thanks! They had lunch with Daddy and Brendan. And then Daddy watched baby Lucas at our house, while they were watching my performances. I was excited to have "fans". Then for the last show, Mommy and Daddy and Brendan watched, along with Auntie Betty, Uncle Joel and baby Joie (she is so cute!) Later, Auntie Betty and Uncle Joel brought Joie over to our house for dinner. I played crazy soccer with Uncle Joel and Brendan too. Super fun day! (and now I am tired)

New reading

My new favorite read....I love these Magic Tree House books. And yes, I can read most of the words in them. Yay for me! Long words are hard! The one Mom got me first was about Venice (in preparation for my trip)

Tennis Lessons

Last day of school and Dmitri's party

So today was the last day of Kindergarten...going to 1st grade soon! Yippeeeeee! Yesterday, we had a little performance at school. We sang a bunch of songs. Mommy loved the one called 1st grade....it was to the music of New York, New York. Super cute.



And we went to my friend Dmitri's 6th birthday party after school. It was a busy day. But we had fun at the party! Happy Birthday Dmitri!

Dance costume preview

Mommy made the patch on my red Levi's cap and sewed the sequins down the sides of last years sailor pants...coolio


Mommy took a man's zebra tie and made it into a boy-size elastic neck tie and made pink suspenders! So cool! Plus, she used the extra zebra fabric from the tie to wrap a band around the hat!
