Is it Chinese New Year yet??

I can't wait. We're going to make dumplings at school, and I am so excited to wear my chinese outfit. I've got it all ready and hanging on my dresser....and Brendan's too. Course, we have matching outfits. We're gonna look good! :)

Other than waiting around for Chinese New Year to come....I've just been hanging out at home (lots of rain over here) and going to school, and meeting up with friends for playdates.

Today, we went to see Mimi and meet her new brother Lucius. I like him. I told Mommy and Daddy that I like babies. And I'm super gentle and careful around the wee little ones. :) Ha ha...Brendan's not so little anymore....so do I still have to be careful??? Yes, I know. He's just a baby. Love him to much!

My favorite songs

One of my favorite songs is "It's a small world"...but in Chinese. And my other favorite song is Yippee yay yay yippee yippee yay...Mommy doesn't know what the words are cuz their in Chinese! (and ha ha, I don't really either) But I'll sing that song all the time (when I think Mommy isn't listening). :) Chinese music is totally my favorite. I really don't have a clue what they are saying, but I like it!

The other day, I made a sun at school, and told Mommy that I wanted to put my "tai yang" on the window. Cool, huh?

So, my new thing is to negotiate...how bout that? Daddy will say, eat your dinner, then you can have some dessert...then I'll say....how bout I have some dessert first, then eat dinner, how bout that? how bout that? I'll always switch it around, and say...how bout that? Mommy will say, clean up and then play helicopter. And I'll say, how bout I play helicopter and then clean up, how bout that? how bout that?

Haircuts

Mommy took Brendan and I to get haircuts today. I was wearing a big black mop before and now I look like a boy. Brendan too. He was looking like a girl with his hair all long in the back. They had a hard time cutting the back of his head again...I guess it's kinda hard to get in there. He has to look way way down, but of course, he wouldn't do it. But Brendan sat nicely thru the whole thing. :)
