HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone!

I'm off to LA with Paw paw today. Can't wait. It's going to be so fun. Mommy and Daddy will come down in a few days. I am getting a vacation from them. Mommy is ALWAYS following me around. :)

For a few days, I loved doing Ring-Around-the-Rosie all by myself (and I'd even fall down), but now I refuse to do it. Maybe in a few weeks? I can say Paw paw (but it sounds like bawbaw), and Yehyeh. Recently, I've started letting Mommy and Daddy know when it's time for my bath by saying "ba". "Ba" also can mean bird, or big bird, and bao (bun). I finally figured out what a fish says (smacking/puckering lips). Uncle Ken showed me how to balance on one foot (sometimes I hold onto something). He keeps asking me if my foot needs fixing...so I raise my foot, and he uses the pliers I got from Jenna to fix them. I've mastered climbing on to my little chairs and I can open the doors in our house. I usually nod yes, rather than no. You can ask me almost anything and I'll nod yes. :)

XMAS PARTY

Today was our Christmas Party. I had a lot of fun playing with my buddy Tristan. We ran around all over the house and sat on my couch, and sat on my table and pretended to make soup and feed all the Aunties and Uncles. We also got to open some presents, which was awesome! I love opening presents. Thanks to al the Aunties and Uncles! There was lots of yummy food. I ate a lot of pumpkin pie again. And lots and lots of berries. I had to change clothes after eating all those berries. I was really happy all day. I didn't take my nap until 5 something! And then I was a little cranky, but I think all I needed was some more food. We ate all the leftovers for dinner. I ate lots of Mommy's curry chicken salad. Curry? Yup. It was delish.

UNCLE STEVE

Uncle Steve (Mommy's cousin) babysat me this morning. I barely noticed Mommy leaving...I was making a call on Uncle's phone. It was really fun. We played peekaboo and had yummy cookies. Plus, Uncle changed his first poopy diaper....MINE! :) I told him it was time by running to the bathroom and pointing to the diapers.

Last week, I went to Auntie Lydia's house, while Mommy ran her errands. She has some awesome stairs! I could climb forever! And she has a piano too.

CALL ME

Yeah, call me. I can sorta answer questions on the phone. Usually the answer is "yes", cuz these days I'm the "yes" boy. My pal Tristan gave me some bear slippers that he wasn't going to use, and I absolutely love them. I wear them all the time when I am at home and I would wear them out if Mommy let me. They keep my toes nice and toasty! I think my 4th molar is coming in this week too. I have a little cough, but I'm getting better.

I had my 18 month checkup and here are some of the stats. I'm 22 pounds something (10th%), 31 inches something, (20th) and, well, my head circumference is 90th. Mommy doesn't remember the exact info...if she would only tell me, I could probably remember. The dr said everything looks good, but this was an unpleasant appointment. I didn't want to be measured, I didn't want to be weighed, and I definitely didn't want to lie down for my shot! OUCH! But once Mommy held me, all was fine. Phew.

MAMA!

I say "Mama" now when prompted...well, sometimes. Though it sounds an awful lot like..what the cat says. Mommy and Daddy put up our tree today and it's beautiful! They bought a fake tree this year, but it looks very nice. Better than cutting down a perfectly good tree, right? Also, it's about time I switched to size 5 diapers...I've had a few accidents this week....which meant lots of laundry! Oops!
